![]() | Julie Carson Julie has been a ballroom dancer since 2004. Something that began as a leisure activity quite quickly became something of an obsesssion in her life. Julie began by learning as an amatuer and dancing in showcases and competitions and then decided in 2009 to take the leap to taking her passion to the next level and becoming a professional dancer. Julie's strong placements and performances in events such as the Holiday Dance Classic - Las Vegas 2007, Cyclone Classic - Ames 2008, Star of the North - Minneapolis 2008, and the Winter Ball in Des Moines, encouraged her to further pursue her dancing skills. Now Julie is sharing her knowledge and love of dance with others by instructing. Her light hearted approach and solid understanding of the techniques necessary to dance have brought forth yet another skill she possesses, the skill of teaching. Her fun attitude and great knowledge of dancing has resulted in her group classes filling up quickly (one more reason to sign up for class early). |
